Halloween is for me a time to think about death. Not physical death per se, but rather symbolic death. The end of existence. It also represents sudden, extreme change.

Halloween or Samhain (I don’t really care for the term that’s used, either one is ok to me) is for me a time of meditation and reflection on things that have ended this year. It’s a time to reflect on what the end of these things brought to us.

For me, a relationship, a friendship, and a musical side-project ended.

But I think it’s better that way. It’s a new opportunity to start again and do things right. It’ll give me more time to re-build my life with a more solid base.
